Weekend at 11 Cadogan Gardens, Chelsea, London

July 15, 2018

So after our concert in Dublin, we headed to London for another show - this time for Ed Sheeran at Wembley. For the two nights we stayed there, we opted for a super chic and oh-so British Hotel - 11 Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea. It’s an iconic English boutique hotel situated near Sloane Square in the heart of Chelsea - the perfect location for a weekend in London. The property was initially built by the Cadogan family in the 19th century and originally consisted of four separate Victorian town houses. The hotel is now a part of Iconic Luxury Hotels, which is owned by London & Regional Properties.

The hotel features 56 individually decorated, recently refurbished rooms that are all quirky and cool in their own way, whereas the lobby, the bar and various areas around the hotel offer plenty of privacy for a quick read of the newspaper or for a last cocktail before heading upstairs. One thing I loved, is that the bar is open 24 hours, meaning whenever you do fancy that last drink (especially because you’re on a holiday), they will serve it to you! The staff is lovely and very helpful, giving tips where to go and of course you must try their own restaurant, Hans’ Bar & Grill, that offers all day dining - from breakfast and quick lunch to a long dinners accompanied by cocktails. If you live in London, why not book the Curio for a private party or the Wine Room for a tasting session. It’s definitely the new neighbourhood hang out for every occasion and the perfect addition to Pavilion Road’s foodie scene. Since I have a video about Ed Sheeran’s concert, stay tuned for my post about his show!

P.S. If you’re looking for a cute place for brunch in Chelsea area, make sure to stop by Muriel’s Kitchen - amazing food & such lovely little place!
