Dinner in the Sky has teamed up with the famed restaurant La Sala and with the talented chef Aitor Perurena from Estudio Gastronomico and have created something incredible - La Sala in the Sky. It’s an amazing gastronomic experience 50m up in the air, located right next to La Sala Puerto Banus restaurant.
Before your ‘board’ the lovely team briefed us all about the security measures and other information you need to know before your ‘flight’. Before heading up, all the guests will be treated to welcome drinks, making it easier to relax and not think about the height factor. But to be honest, once you’re up there it doesn’t feel scary or that high. All you can see is the breathtaking view and all you can taste is amazing food. My favourite dish from the 5 course menu was the Spider Crab Cannelloni with a Cardinal Prawn and the Special Magnum Dessert is the perfect finish to this gastronomic journey. Besides the views and the heavenly food, the team on board is also top - everybody gets first class treatment and you do feel very special up dining up there!
The whole experience from the beginning til’ the end is something so different and memorable that it’s hard put it all in words, you really need to try it yourself.
