Pärnu in the Summer - The Perfect Escape

If you know me, you know how much I love Marbella - but let’s be honest, July and August can get really hot down here. Like every year, we escape to my hometown Pärnu, Estonia’s summer capital, (with just 50.000 inhabitants) and here’s a little vlog of some of the things we did and places we love. The weather was just perfect - warm enough for beach days and long walks, but never overwhelming.

It’s the kind of summer where you can enjoy the soft ice cream in the sun, explore parks with the kids, and still feel fresh in the evenings. The best part of Pärnu is how family-friendly it is. Everything feels so easy with little ones - wide parks, safe streets, playgrounds, and that endless sandy beach where the kids can run free for hours. In the video you’ll see some of our favorite spots to eat (like Düün, Statka, Oliver’s, Villa Wesset and I love Supelsaksad too) - from cozy cafés to fresh local flavors, there’s something charming about the food scene here.

The best bread in Pärnu, you’ll find in Leivakas, and around the corner you’ll have the best coffee from Kohvila and actually the best pastries are in Taluturg, 5-min from it in Parnu Keskus. Pärnu is the perfect family friendly summer escape: relaxing, beautiful, and welcoming. If you’re craving a break from the heat and want somewhere peaceful but full of life, I can’t recommend it enough. Plus there’s also 9 spas in Pärnu, which I couldn’t film, as I left my camera, but do check out Terviseparadiis water park with the kids, and have a boutique spa experience at Hedone Spa, also visit Estonia Spa for an amazing spa experience with the whole family.
