Top Kid friendly restaurants in Marbella

Updated: Feb 10

After becoming a parent, we have changed which restaurants/cafes we go to, which is normal. But to be honest I’m so surprised that there isn’t that many family/kid friendly places in Marbella. Just even a small corner for the kids would make a difference to so many parents. There is of course Mundo Mania, which is a big indoor/outdoor playground for kids and you can enjoy some food there as well, and there is also Kidz Kingdom (where I haven’t been yet, but it exists). But this post is more about places to eat with your children, that is not only a playground for children, but actually also a lovely place to dine out. Feel free to comment below your favorite places to go out with your family!

1. Rock & Kids in Nueva Andalucia

Located near the Aloha College on the roundabout, Rock & Kids Cafe is definitely my number one family friendly restaurant in Marbella (or more like a cafe as they don’t open for dinner). Not only do they have an inside and outside play area, the whole cafe is gates and the food is so good. My favorite food to enjoy there are the Vietnamese rolls - a must-have when you’re there! Of course there are food options for the little ones and the prices are reasonable. Great place to also host your little ones birthday party.

2. OWL Cafe in Benamara

OWL Organic With Love has two cafes - one in San Pedro and one in Cancelada. The new big OWL in Benamara is a place to Eat, Learn, Play and have fun every day and in any weather forecast. They have a spacious indoors play area and they also have a garden area. But I always prefer to enjoy some lunch in the gated indoor area where there are lots of toys and fun things to play with. The food is a bit pricy, but it’s delicious and all organic.

4. Ammo Beach club in San Pedro

Ammo is not actually a kid restaurant/cafe but it’s a lovely family friendly beachclub in San Pedro de Alcantara, right next to Alabardero. I love going there with my babygirl as they have the best white sand from Cadiz, and a stunning swimming pool with easy access to kids. And of course you have the stunning boho style sunbeds and the whole place looks and feels very zen. It almost feels like you’re on the beach, but you’re not. It’s not cheap though, as the beds are around €20 (€30 high season), but it’s a great treat for you and for the little one as a special day out!

5.Bocana Beach in Marbella

Bocana is also not an actualy children’s cafe or playground, but it’s right on the beach, so you can sit in the restaurant and your little one can play on the sand right next to you. Also the prices are very reasonable and overall I love to dining there.
