Summer holidays in my hometown Pärnu, Estonia!

I was so happy to visit my hometown last week and to enjoy the beautiful weather in the summer capital of Estonia, since I always go for Christmas and hardly ever go outdoors with the snow and -15 degrees! I have lived in Pärnu for the majority of my life. Only when I finished high school I moved to Tallinn to go to the university. Pärnu is such a beautiful town, especially in the summer. It's the fourth biggest city in Estonia with around 40,000 inhabitants. It is a popular summer holiday resort with many hotels, restaurants, and large beaches.

Did you know that starting from 2015 Pärnu hosts the annual Weekend Festival, the largest dance music festival in Scandinavia? Stages are headlined by DJs from across the electronic dance music spectrum, with audiovisual support. Some of the past and upcoming artists to perform include Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Avicii, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Robin Schulz, Afrojack, deadmau5, Knife Party and many more. So if you're in Estonia in August, you must attend the Weekend Music Festival in Pärnu beach - I'm planning to go myself next year, since this year I can't make it again. Anyway, I was so glad to see my family and my gransparents and other relatives, to catch up over a nice garden barbecue and to reminisce about good old times. Enjoy some photos of my home and my family! Talk to you soon xx
