If you ask me about the best beach in Marbella, I always come back to one particular spot along Marbella’s famous Golden Mile. Living in Marbella, I’ve spent years exploring the coastline, discovering hidden gems, beach clubs, family-friendly spots, and places that simply make everyday life here feel special. But there is one beach I keep returning to again and again, not just because of the beach itself, but because everything around it makes for the perfect day by the sea. And if you’re visiting Marbella, especially with family or kids, this is definitely one place worth adding to your list.
Why I Love This Marbella Beach
What makes this spot stand out is that it offers everything you actually need for a comfortable beach day. First of all - easy parking, which in Marbella during summer already feels like a luxury in itself.
I usually park near La Perla, one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and from there you have direct access to the beach just steps away. It is one of those perfect Marbella spots where you can easily combine a beach day with a long lunch, sunset drinks, or simply enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle Marbella is so famous for. The beach itself is spacious, clean, and one of the most comfortable stretches along the Golden Mile Marbella.
What I especially appreciate is that you also have:
• Public toilets nearby
• Showers to rinse off after swimming
• Easy beach access
• Plenty of space even during busier months
Sometimes it’s the small conveniences that make all the difference.
One Of My Favorite Things About Marbella: The Paseo Marítimo
One of the reasons I love this area so much is not just the beach itself — it is Marbella’s incredible Paseo Marítimo. Did you know Marbella has over 20 kilometers of walkable coastline connecting Marbella, Puerto Banús, and San Pedro de Alcántara?
It is honestly one of my favorite things about living here. You can spend hours simply walking along the sea, stopping for coffee, beach clubs, restaurants, playgrounds, or just enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean atmosphere. And it is not only great for walking.
You can also:
• Rent bikes and cycle along the coast• Bring scooters for the kids• Go for a morning run with sea views• Explore different beaches without moving your car
I think this is one of the things that makes Marbella so unique compared to many other destinations in Spain. It truly offers a lifestyle built around being outdoors.
Perfect For Families Visiting Marbella
As a parent, I naturally notice the practical things when choosing a beach. This spot works incredibly well if you are visiting Marbella with kids because everything is easily accessible.
No complicated parking. No long walks carrying half your house to the beach. Facilities nearby. Restaurant close enough when little ones suddenly decide they are starving.
It simply makes life easier.

La Perla
A special mention goes to La Perla, which has become one of my favorite beachside spots in Marbella. It is exactly the kind of place I love recommending because it captures everything I personally love about Marbella living - beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, great food, and that effortless Mediterranean lifestyle that makes people fall in love with this place. Sometimes the best places are not necessarily the most famous ones. They are simply the ones you keep coming back to.
There are so many beautiful beaches in Marbella, but if someone asks me where I personally love spending a beach day - especially somewhere practical, beautiful, and easy - this is one of my absolute favorites.
Good parking. Beautiful beach. Amazing promenade. Great restaurant. Perfect for families. And one of the best ways to experience what Marbella lifestyle is truly all about. If you are planning a trip to Marbella, this spot deserves a place on your itinerary. And if you already live here… you probably know exactly why I keep coming back.
