After my treatment I had a walk in the stunning old town and also visited my favorite book shop in Tallinn - Rahva Raamat in Viru Keskus. In 2022, it was awarded Bookstore of the Year at the London Book Fair International Excellence Awards, basically the Oscars of the book world. It beat out iconic bookstores from Mexico, Italy, and China.  The space: It’s not just shelves of books - it’s three floors of culture, with a modern, cozy atmosphere, reading corners, and even a café (so you can sip coffee while flipping through your finds). And I also love the beauty section as well as the Kaubamaja Toidumaailm ("Food World" / grocery department) is on the 1st floor. There is so much more to Tallinn, like Telliskivi area, Kadrioru Park, Rotermanni, The new Noblessner Port etc but all of that has to stay until next year!
